نوع اول :در جملات نوع اول صفت و موصوف بهم چسبیده هستند و قبل از صفت و موصوف a یا an نوشته میشود.
.type 1 : This is a red box . plural : These are red boxes
موصوف صفت اسم اشاره
That is a yellow book. " Those are yellow books
موصوف صفت اسم اشاره
تذکر ۱ : هرگز صفات جمع بسته نمی شوند.
تذکر۲ : در جملات جمع از a و an استفاده نمی شود.
تذکر۳: قانون گرفتن s باید رعایت شود.
کلماتی که انتهای آنها x,z,s,ch,o,sh دارند بجای s بایدes بگیرند.
نوع دوم : برای ساختن جملات نوع دوم به این صورت عمل میکنیم .
aو anحذف میشود و موصوف را به اول جمله بعد از کلمه ی اشاره منتقل میکنند .
. type 2 : This box is red
That is a yellow book. t2 : That book is yellow
Those book are yellow
سوال ساختن برای صفت رنگ : زمانیکه می خواهیم در مورد رنگ سوال کنیم از What color استفاده می کنیم .
I have a pair of purple shoes.
?What color are your shoes
. They 're purple
فرمول ساختن این دسته از سوالات :
? + بقیه جمله به ترتیب غیر از رنگ + فعل +What color
